Hershey, PA (October 15, 2018) — It’s almost Halloween, and all the kids are planning their trick-or-treat costumes, parades and other seasonal activities. Come to AACA Museum, Inc. and join us for our annual “Trunk or Treat” scavenger hunt here at the Museum. Admission is just $9.50 per person for adults and kids ages 4 & older; children 3 and younger are FREE. New for 2018, we have scheduled a 2nd day of Trunk or Treating! This activity has become so popular with families that we have scheduled two dates this year, Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21, from 12:00 – 3:00 pm each day.
Kids 12 and under are invited to participate in the “Trunk or Treat” program. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy an entertaining afternoon of family fun! Your adventure begins at crafting tables, where kids will decorate their own “Trunk or Treat” bags using a variety of car and Halloween stamps, stickers, markers and more.
Once they’ve personalized their treat bag, the hunt begins to locate a variety of “Trunk or Treat” spots within the main and lower levels of the Museum. After the “Trunk or Treaters” have exhausted themselves exploring the Museum they can wind down with Halloween themed videos playing in our indoor Drive-in theatre.
Thank you to our event sponsor The Hershey Company for providing treats for the various trunk-or-treat stations. Also, thank you to our new sponsor Oriental Trading Company for providing themed décor items for this event.
Automotive Halloween décor will consist of some orange and black vehicles, a pumpkin van and two antique funeral hearses that will be on display to get you in the “spirit.”
On Sunday, October 21st there will be the added excitement of a Witches & Goblins Car Cruise-in on the property with lots of local enthusiasts bringing out their vehicles for everyone to enjoy from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. The Car Cruise-In is being put on by the Hershey Region AACA. The AACA Museum, Inc. is dedicated to providing the whole family with an enjoyable All Hallows’ Eve in a safe, wickedly fun, and educational environment. Come to enjoy car scenes from a wide variety of decades that bring to mind spirits and maybe some spooky ghosts of the past, while enjoying a fabulous collection of vehicles.
Trip Advisor has just named the destination of Hershey, PA as one of the “25 Best Family Weekend Getaways with Kids” in the country. The AACA Museum, Inc. is ranked as the #1 attraction by the visitors on that site along with being a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Winner. All great reasons to visit for Trunk or Treat this weekend!
Special note: We are asking all miniature ghosts, goblins, pirates and more to leave any sharp or pointed costume accessories at home so as not to injure other guests or Museum vehicles.
