Tucker-Studebaker Parade Lap | Studebaker Raffle Car Drawing | Trunk-n-Junk Outdoor Flea Market (Studebaker only) | Museum Easter Egg Hunt
A new feature for this year is the Tucker – Studebaker Parade Lap! By 10 am, a caravan of Studebakers will be aligned behind the only Tucker automatic transmission TUCKER #1026; whereupon it will lead Studebakers on a parade lap around the Museum’s property…driven by a Studebaker owner. This Tucker has never been seen or driven in a public setting like this and is the first time in years, perhaps decades, the public will be able to see this Tucker operate. This is an opportunity to hear the cacophony of the Tucker exhaust, the sound of its horns, and the cyclops headlight turn on/off automatically as the Tucker turns and goes straight. The parade lap participation is open to all Studebaker’s for the public to observe. Rain or shine.
The Studebaker Family Extravaganza and Raffle Car Drawing event is a day of activity for Studebaker enthusiast registrants beginning at 9 am with the Studebaker only Car Coral and Trunk-n-Junk flea market. The Tucker & Studebaker parade lap is followed by a short rally tour to see two Milton Hershey limousine’s (Cadillac and Pierce-Arrow). These, other cars and automobilia are seldom seen by the public. The plan is to have these long sitting artifacts running in time for the Studebaker registrants to witness their operation.
Studebaker registrants receive Museum admission, behind-the-scenes, and #1026 Tucker tour, Easter Egg hunt (12 & under), gourmet sandwich buffet, hospitality room all day with donuts, coffee, soda, water, crudités, and other light fare. Also included is a rally tour of the Milton Hershey limousine collection.
