Cruise through time as you enjoy vintage vehicles from the early 1890’s through the 1980’s in our main gallery. Each decade of vehicles is arranged to correspond to a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco complete with themed settings. Our lower level gallery features The Museum of Bus Transportation’s collection of more than 10 full sized antique buses along with our original 1940’s Valentine Diner where visitors can learn diner trivia.
Special collection vehicles include Whitney Houston’s Rolls-Royce Limousine and the Lakeland Bus used in the movie “Forrest Gump.” Other exhibit items include motorcycles, motor scooters and a collection of more than 100 hood ornaments. Our permanent exhibit – The Cammack Tucker Gallery showcases the World’s largest display of Tucker automobiles and tells the story of Preston Tucker.
Current featured exhibits include “Getting the Job Done: Vehicles That Earned Their Keep” showcasing a wide array of vehicles from Fire engines to ice cream trucks to a Mexican Taxi and everything in between. We’re also exhibiting a trio of award winning Corvettes and a duo of DeLoreans, one of which is the DeLorean prototype car.
