Chocolate Covered February at the AACA Museum

Hershey, PA (January 30, 2015) – Are you a lover of all things chocolate? Each year Hershey, PA celebrates Chocolate Covered February – a month-long, town-wide celebration of all things chocolate! Here at the AACA Museum visitors will enjoy viewing the original Hershey’s Kissmobile cruiser – a uniquely sweet vehicle like no other. All month, visitors can also participate in a Hershey’s Kisses Scavenger Hunt throughout the Museum – how many Hershey’s Kisses can you find?

Fantastic Frozen party – February 15th

The Disney movie “Frozen” is a crowd favorite and we’ve created a fun event around this movie to get folks out of the house and eliminate that February cabin fever! Festivities will take place on the lower level gallery of the AACA Museum with the highlight being the Sing-A-Long version of “Frozen”! You can also look forward to appearances by Elsa and Olaf, fun snacks including pizza, hot dogs, cookies and beverages. Come dressed in as your favorite Frozen character, bring pillows or sleeping bags to enjoy the movie – chairs will also be available. A special party atmosphere will be created with Ice tables & décor by The JDK Group and lighting by Mixed Up Productions.

Alfred Angelo will be here featuring an Elsa’s inspired wedding gown, and some of the gowns from the Disney Fairy Tale Bridal Collection from 4:30pm to 8:30pm.

Choose from one of two sessions: 3-5:30 PM OR 6-8:30 PM. Special Pricing for this event: $15 Adults / $10 children 4-12 / Children 3 & under are FREE. Advanced reservations required.

Make & Take your own Hershey’s Kissmobile – Monday, February 16th
To make this year’s celebration even more special, guests can build their own Kissmobile out of Hershey’s chocolate products on President’s Day, February 16, 2015 from 1 – 3 pm!  To sweeten the deal, all guests will be offered a $7 admission.

In addition to all the love for chocolate, love is in the air for February! The AACA Museum is hosting its 6th annual Wedding Show on Sunday, February 22. Our show has the most diverse vendors, limousine rides, entertainment, VIP experience and so much more! Our event includes plenty of gift certificates and prizes. And you don’t want to miss the Cake Dive! Whether you’re springing into love or falling in the fall, our theme for 2015 is “A Wedding Show for All Seasons.” Couples choose to get married during the spring, summer, fall, and winter; let us show you all of the different and creative ideas each vendor has for your big day.

Guests can also enjoy our newest special exhibit “Lotus: The Art of Lightness” with a variety of Lotus models both road and race throughout its 60 year history, along with a few one-of–a-kind featured art pieces.
About the AACA Museum
The AACA Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1890s – 1980s in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco. This Museum, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is known to be one of the largest automotive museums. Special exhibits change several times a year and focus on a variety of eras and types of vehicles. The Museum is in South Hanover Township, located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, Pennsylvania. Regular admission $12, seniors age 61 and older $11, juniors age 4-12 $9, children age 3 and under and AACA Members are FREE. The Museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. AACA Museum will be closed for a private group function February 2 & 3. New for 2015 – AACA Museum will be open from 5-9 PM on the first Thursday of each month.
