Pyramid Construction of Wormleysburg Volunteers Construction Services for Cammack-Tucker Gallery Exhibit

The opening of the display of the Cammack Tucker collection of vehicles and memorabilia has been a frequent question on the minds of visitors to the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey. This highly anticipated exhibit has been more than a year in the making from accessioning artifacts to the exhibit design. Exhibit construction will soon begin with volunteer assistance from Pyramid Construction of Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania. Pyramid Construction will be lending up to three of their workers for two weeks to help build the exhibit facades. Pyramid is no stranger to the AACA Museum; they were one of the original contractors chosen to build our Museum more than 11 years ago.

1914 Packard Refurbished and Ready for Elegance at Hershey

The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum is excited to showcase the refurbishment of a recently donated vehicle. This rather remarkable Packard was gifted to the Museum from an estate in Jupiter, Florida. When it arrived here at the AACA Museum it was missing its unique Packard cathedral radiator. Nearly a year ago, contact was initiated with the Gerz family in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (Packard enthusiasts and a fourth generation radiator and repair shop) about the possibility of fabricating the missing radiator. Blueprints from the Studebaker museum and a 1915 Packard were used in the replication. The Gerz’s generously donated the time, materials and expertise in reconstructing the radiator to original specifications and they were able to make the car operational. It is making its show debut at the upcoming Elegance at Hershey event being held June 15th on the picturesque grounds of The Hotel Hershey.
