June 10 – November 6, 2016. A creative exhibit geared for summer fun! A Steampunk display with reflection on recycled gears and parts commonly found in the automotive industry re-purposed into both an artistic and functional form.

What is Steampunk? Steampunk: refers to a subgenre of science fiction and sometimes fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery.

Mods Vs. Rockers

March 19 – October 15, 2016. The mods and rockers conflict led sociologist Stanley Cohen to coin the term moral panic in his study about the two youth subcultures. Theme: A history and examination of the “Mods & Rockers” era in the UK, late 1950s – early 1960s. The exhibit will feature approximately 12 period motorcycles and 12 period scooters, along with material culture, photographs, and interpretive posters.
