Cake Dive!

Wedding Show 2012.…

AACA Museum welcomes the return of the cake dive at our 2012 Wedding Show. This year we are excited to welcome The Pennsylvania Bakery as our cake dive sponsor.

We will randomly selecting 10 lucky brides at the show who will search in this sweet confection for a ring that has been hidden inside. The frosting may fly, but the woman who finds the ring will also receive almost $13,000 in wedding prizes that include:

  • A Wedding Gown of your choosing up to $1000 from Gowns by Paulette
  • Free Tuxes for the groom and his entire wedding party from Top Line Tuxedos
  • DJ Wedding Reception Services from Titus Touch Music
  • Engagement photography session from Thomas Beaman

Brides wishing to participate as a contestant in the cake dive will be able to fill out a special entry form in the lobby on the day of the show. We will draw only from those entries at approximately 3:30PM in the lower level gallery in front of the stage. You must be present when your name is called to participate in the 4PM cake dive. All terms and conditions of the prized will be presented to the winner immediately following the cake dive event. Prize list subject to change without notice. Only registered brides at the show are eligible enter.

Custom Dream Dress

We are lucky enough to be able to bring back one of our most popular prizes from 2011, one of the brides attending The Wedding Show will win a true one of a kind prize giveaway generously provided by Michelle Rene’

The winner will have the truly unique experience to design an exclusive dress that she can wear fashionably to her engagement party, rehearsal dinner, reception or honeymoon getaway. This one of a kind prize is valued at over $1000.00 The winner will have the ability to create and design your own dress style, pick your fabric(s) and wear your couture’ vision with the guidance of an experienced professional seamstress & stylist.

  • Fittings
  • Labor

All you need is a lucky golden ticket. You will receive one golden ticket at registration on show day and will have many more ways to get additional golden tickets from vendors and Museum staff throughout the day. The drawing will be held just before the cake dive at 4PM and you will have to be present to win. Only registered brides at the show are eligible enter.

Michelle Renee will be personally attending the bridal show in our lower level gallery diner area.

One lucky bride to be will be able to take this beautiful “Louie” home with her on show day! As if this bag alone was not enough, we will be hiding another fabulous surprise prize inside. All you need is a lucky golden ticket. You will receive one golden ticket at registration on show day and will have many more ways to get additional golden tickets from vendors and Museum staff throughout the day. The drawing will be held just before the cake dive at 4PM and you will have to be present to win. Only registered brides at the show are eligible enter.

50/50 Raffle

Is your wedding fund a little low…or nonexistent? We will be holding a 50/50 raffle at the show with the winner receiving half of all the money generated thru the ticket sales. The other 50% of the money will be donated to Central PA Food Bank. They are a great organization and it is an easy way for everyone to give a little back & help your wedding budget at the same time. 50/50 tickets will be sold in the lobby on the day of the show and with an expected attendance of about 1000 people we should be able to generate.

In addition, several additional incredible prizes have been donated from participating vendors at the show. We will be giving away those prizes in many ways, from simple golden ticket drawings to a fun “Minute To Win It” segment presented by Mr. B’s Entertainment. We would love to see as many brides as possible leave with a great give they can use during their wedding planning.

If you would like to earn up to 10 additional golden tickets for our prize give away, simply bring in up to 10 non-perishable food items to be donated to the Central PA Food Bank. They will be in the lobby on show day to accept your generous donations.
