An Exciting Indoor Attraction In Hershey, PA

 

Many families and groups come to visit Hershey, PA for summer fun with a variety of fun attractions that make Hershey, PA such as special place. The AACA Museum is a fabulous indoor attraction to explore, perfect for those rainy overly hot or bitter cold days!

With over 100 vehicles on display, the AACA Museum provides engaging and interactive exhibits for the whole family. Our galleries provide a walk through time, decade by decade of automobile history. Permanent exhibits include the Cammack Tucker Gallery – the world’s largest display of Tucker ’48 automobiles and related artifacts with an interesting story to tell, along with a new Tucker interactive vehicle coming for the summer of 2017. Route 66 gallery explores this iconic stretch of roadway and it’s unique place in American history, The Museum of Bus Transportation showcases a variety of antique buses, and kids of all ages love our custom model train display with lots of buttons to work a variety of interactive elements. Our Assembly line experience allows you to understand how Henry Ford changed the world with the assembly line process as you assemble your own Model T.

Special themed exhibits change several times a year and permanent vehicles also rotate on display so there is always something new to see. All exhibits provide a fun and engaging experience for visitors, while also educating about the exciting history of automobiles and how they are part of the fabric of our lives!

The AACA Museum is a great indoor alternative or rainy day option for both visitors and locals. Just about a mile up the road from HERSHEYPARK and Hershey’s Chocolate World, we’re quick and easy to find just off Rte. 39 West and offer plenty of free parking.

Directions To The Museum

To get to the Museum from Harrisburg:

Via I-81

  1. Get on I-81 N.
  2. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for Hazleton/Allentown.
  3. Take exit 77 for PA-39, Manada Hill/Hershey.
  4. Turn right onto PA-39 E.
  5. Turn right onto Museum Dr.

Via I-83/322

  1. Get on I-83 N.
  2. Take exit 46B for US 322 E towards Hershey.
  3. Keep right on US-322 E, which will eventually become US-422 E.
  4. Keep right and merge onto PA-39 W/W Governor Rd. The ramp will be labeled for Hersheypark Dr/Attractions.
  5. Follow PA-39 and eventually turn left onto Museum Dr.
