Treasures from the Three Dog Garage:
The Ross Myers Collection

November 1, 2008 – March 15, 2009

3 Dog GarageTreasurers from the Three Dog Garage will highlight the Ross Myers Collection in all its dimensions, by presenting a selection of vehicles that reflect Mr. Myer’s tastes and personal collecting philosophy. Visitors to the exhibition will see a variety of automotive forms: classic cars, customs, trucks, racing cars, and vintage hot rods, all of which reflect the collector’s commitment to originality, documentation, and history. The show will also illustrate his interest in Ford products and, particularly, Mustang racing cars. The inclusion of “First Love”, the 2007 Ridler Award winner, will add a significant dimension to show when it arrives in Mid-November.

Treasurers from the Three Dog Garage will be the second in the Museum’s Collectors Series, a program designed to showcase major, privately owned “collections with character”. The inaugural Collectors Series exhibit, installed in 2005, featured cars from the Nicola Bulgari Collection.
