Family Fun Weekend March 31 & April 1

Hershey, PA (March 27, 2012).  Looking for a fun activity to get you out of the house?  Visit a treasure in your own backyard.  The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum is offering its guests a special $5 admission price (50% off our regular price) and special activities on March 31 and April 1, 2012 sponsored by Hoffman Ford of Harrisburg.   Children 3 and under are always free. 

AACA Museum is currently featuring Alternative Energy Vehicles on display showcasing all forms of fuel from the last 100 years.  Both Saturday and Sunday, we’ll be showing the original “Back to the Future” movie at our indoor drive-in theatre at 10:30 AM and again at 2:00 PM.   All guests can take place in our Museum wide scavenger hunt searching for the famous back to the future car and a chance to win 4 admission tickets to the Museum and a Back to the Future model car.  Our interactive photo stop, roads to rails model trains and kids area round out some of our family favorites.

On Saturday, March 31st we will also have an Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn of the AACA Museum at 1:00 PM for all children under 12 years of age broken down by age categories.   Treats for the Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by The Hershey Company.   The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for photos with guests from 11AM – 1 PM.   Hot dogs, popcorn and drinks will be available for guests by donation.

The Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1900’s – 1970’s in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco.   The AACA Museum, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is one of the nation’s newest and largest automotive museums.  Special exhibits change several times a year and focus on a variety of eras and types of vehicles.  The AACA Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Regular admission $10, seniors age 61 and older $9, juniors age 4-12 $7, children age 3 and under are FREE.  Special Weekend admission will be $5.00 per person ages 4 & older for March 31 and April 1st .  No additional discounts or coupons will apply.  The Museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with last admission at 4:00 PM.   For further information, please call 717-566-7100 or visit www.AACAMuseum.org.

The AACA Museum is located off Route 39 West, one mile from the Hersheypark Drive intersection.
