PA Automotive Association Foundation Competition at the AACA Museum

On February 21, 2013, students from ten Pennsylvania schools will compete in the PAA Automotive Technology Competition for scholarships and prizes. The winning school will advance to the 2013 National Automotive Technology Competition at the New York International Auto Show.

Looking for a fun winter activity to get out of the house?  Visit a treasure in your own backyard.  The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum is offering the community a special $5 admission price (50% off our regular price) and special activities on January 19, 20 & 21.   Children 3 and under are always free.

AACA Museum get an early Christmas Gift - Whitney Houston's Limousine

As Santa gets ready for the busy Christmas season, the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum must be on the “Nice” list this year as an early “gift” arrived this week just in time of the holiday season.    An Anonymous collector has donated a 1986 Rolls Royce Silver Spur factory Limousine to the Museum’s collections.   This particular Rolls-Royce was owned by famed music icon, the late Whitney Houston.   Houston was one of the most successful singers of all time having been nominated and winning several Grammy Awards including her first as Best Pop Vocal Performance, female in 1986 for “Saving All My Love For you” and again in 1988 for “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” then again in 1994 for Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best pop Vocal Performance, Female for the original Bodyguard Soundtrack and “I Will Always Love You”.  Whitney Houston, often referred to as “The Rolls-Royce of soul voices”, purchased this car through her publishing company Nippy, Inc. and used it extensively for her daily activities for a number of years.  Among the cars features is a division window, TV/VCR, and a wet bar with crystal glasses.

Local Schools Show Holiday Spirit at the AACA Museum Now - January 6, 2013

The AACA Museum is excited to have Christmas trees decorated by our local school students on display this year for our Spectacular Christmas Celebration. East Hanover Elementary School, Hershey High School, Lower Dauphin High School, Steelton High School, Upper Dauphin Middle School, and Robert G. Reid Elementary schools have decorated six different trees to show their holiday cheer!

Holiday Film Series at the AACA Museum November 16 - January 6, 2013

There is nothing more entertaining than classic Christmas must – see films during the holiday season. Come in from the cold weather outside and indulge in some holiday cheer at the AACA Museum indoor drive-in movie theatre.

We’re showing all of the holiday favorites spread out through seven weeks! Two showings will play daily at 10am and 2pm and is included in your museum admission.

Toys for Kids 1-92 November 16-January 6, 2013

Deck the halls with toys, dolls, model trains and Herbie … the holiday season is right around the train tracks and the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey is bringing out all the stops!  Herbie The Love Bug is taking a winter vacation and making his return to the Museum to help celebrate the holiday season along with several other holiday activities including more than 25 decorated Christmas trees, displays of model trains including The Polar Express and Thomas the Tank Engine, Ernie’s Taxi from the timeless holiday film “It’ a Wonderful Life”, The Great Grinch & Max Scavenger Hunt, One-of-A-Kind Car-Toon Truck and much more!

Autos and Ales November 9th at the AACA Museum from 6-10 PM

With the fall festivities upon us you can make your way inside the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey for the 2012 Autos and Ales event on November 9 from 6 pm to 10 pm.  Among over 60 vintage vehicles and live entertainment the area’s best breweries are gathering together to serve samples of beer from the Appalachian Brewing Company, Erie Brewing Company, Blue Canoe Brewery, Lancaster Brewing Company, Oskar Blues, Evil Genius, The Raven Brewery, Samuel Adams, Troegs, South County, Angry Orchard Hard Cider, House of Shandy, Yuengling, Miller and Snitz Creek Brewery.   Additional breweries may be added as we near the date of the event.

"Trunk or Treat" at the AACA Museum in Hershey

 Pirates and witches and ghosts … Oh My! Halloween fun is coming to the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey. Kids 12 and under are invited to participate in the annual “Truck or Treat” program for just $5 per person on October 27th.
