2013 Automotive Technology Competition

On February 21, 2013, the above students will compete in the PAA Automotive Technology Competition for scholarships and prizes. The winning school will advance to the 2013 National Automotive Technology Competition at the New York International Auto Show.

A team of two students from the ten top schools were selected for the competition through a written qualifying exam, in which a pool of 102 students from 18 schools participated. To prepare for the competition, students are currently training at new car dealerships in their areas. On competition day, the students will face a test of advanced automotive diagnostic skills on 2013 vehicles with predetermined defects.  The 2013 vehicles will be supplied by area franchised dealerships.
