An Evening with The Tuckers

Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

An incredible evening centered around Tucker – the automobile and the family.

Breaking002On view will be the original “Tin Goose” prototype courtesy of the Swigart Museum located in Huntingdon, PA.

Preston Tucker’s family including grandson John Jr. and great-grandsons Mike and Sean Tucker will reminisce about amusing antidotes and host a question and answer session.

Steve Tremulis, the nephew of  famed designer Alex Tremulis will explore designs for the ‘48 and other stories.

Rob & Bob Ida will be on hand to examine the design features and construction of the Tucker along with information on the New Tucker ’48 currently on display at the AACA Museum created by the Idas.

Cool Cars for Cats and Canines

Once again this year we are very excited about our upcoming 4th Annual Exotic and Sports Car Show “Cool Cars for Cats and Canines” to be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 on the beautiful grounds of the AACA Museum in Hershey PA.  Our 2013 event was incredible – over 180 cars on the show field!  We also saw a record attendance at well over 500 people!  This event draws drivers and car buffs from all across the mid-Atlantic including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and even Massachusetts.

2014 Vintage & Vineyards: The Hershey Wine Festival

Benefiting Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital

Join us for the first time in this unique and classic new venue. The 2014 festival will host more than 100 wineries from around the world for the first Vintage & Vineyards: The Wine Festival in Hershey. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample hundreds of wines, many of which are poured by the winemakers themselves, as they walk through this extraordinary venue surrounded by classic and antique automobiles. Fine Wine & Good Spirits will have an on-site store at the festival, offering a selection of superior wines from the wineries represented at the event. Stop in to buy some of your favorites.

4th Generation EF Car Show

Date: Sunday, May 18
Time: 12:00 PM (Noon) – 5:00 PM

As the perfect kick-off to opening weekend of our Motoring Mysteries of the Far East exhibit there will be a 4th Generation (EF) Honda show on the grounds surrounding the AACA Museum. This is your chance to see some great Honda Civics and CRXs from 1988 – 1991. Anyone with one of these cars is welcome to participate – there is no entry fee, and no advance notice required. We will give all those who bring their car for the show a coupon to visit the AACA Museum exhibits for just $8 on that day.

So join the fun and bring your car or just enjoy viewing additional cars on view that day!

Museum of Bus Transportation Spring Fling

Displays are located inside the AACA Museum and outside the Museum on the grounds.  View a variety of modes of bus transportation – Intercity, transit, school bus, motorcoach conversions.

The Elegance & Grand Ascent at Hershey

19th Annual Museum Car Show

Matchbox Car Show

Date: Sunday, September 21
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

image031A Matchbox Toy show will again be held in Hershey!  The Die cast Toy Exchange is sponsoring this Matchbox Toy show here at the AACA Museum on Sunday, September 21st from 9AM - 4 PM.  Admission to the Museum on this day will be just $5.00 per person for ages 4 and older, with children 3 and under FREE.

This is a great chance for you to enjoy some miniature cars and full size cars on the same day at a terrific price!

Trunk or Treat

Date: Saturday, October 25
Time: 12:00 Noon – 3:00 PM

image032Gather up your miniature ghosts and goblins and head over to the AACA Museum in Hershey for a bit of Halloween fun!    All visitors 12 and under will be eligible to participate in the AACA Museum’s “Trunk or Treat” program included with Museum admission.    We will offer a special $5 admission price for everyone on October 25th.

The first stop will be craft tables to decorate their own Treat bags using various car and Halloween stamps, stickers, markers and more.  Once they’ve personalized their own treat bag, the hunt will begin to locate a variety of “trunk or treat” spots within the main and lower levels of the Museum.    Treats will be given to each child 12 and under at each of these treat locations throughout the Museum.
