The Easter Bunny is Coming

To The AACA Museum on April 12th

image008-1Hershey, PA (April 4, 2014) – The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum is excited to again offer its annual Easter celebration with fun for the whole family. The festivities will begin on April 12th at 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a visit from the Easter Bunny, who is thrilled to partake in a picture with you and the family, so remember to bring your camera. Starting at 11:30 AM there will be hot dogs, popcorn, and lemonade to snack on provided courtesy of Hoffman Ford.

Following the visit from the Easter Bunny, children can participate in an Egg Hunt filled with sweet treats courtesy of The Hershey Company, as well as a few surprises from Texas Roadhouse. The Egg Hunt will began at 1:00 for ages 0-3 years, 1:15 for ages 4-6 years, and 1:30 for ages 7-10 years. Bring your basket to hold all the eggs you collect!

New this year, a Free Child ID program is available for parents in the event a child would go missing. New York Life child ID program volunteers take a digital picture and full fingerprinting per child and an Identification card is printed on site for each family. They follow the same procedure as (as well as work with) the Harrisburg Police Department – Information is deleted as soon as the ID card is provided to the family. This program is provided by New York Life, and is purely to benefit the community and raise child safety awareness. The child ID permission slip can be found on the AACA Museum website, Easter Egg Hunt Event.

Special Easter related activities are all complimentary, and we encourage everyone to stay and explore the wonders of the Museum for just $5.00 per person (half off our regular admission price). Special exhibits include Indian Nation: Indian Motorcycles & America with more than two dozen Indian motorcycles from the early 1900s through the mid 1950s on view until October 24th. The Art of the Build: Rods & Kustoms celebrates the cars and their creators that dared to be different with a variety of one-of-a kind vehicles on display through April 27th. Other exhibits include Whitney Houston’s 1986 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur Limousine, and the “From Roads to Rails” Custom Model Train Display. Kids of all ages will love the hands on activities area including with a photo stop where they can dress up and get their photo “driving” a vintage vehicle.
