November 18 – December 31, 2017
Our celebration to get you into the holiday spirit featuring dozens of themed decorated Christmas trees, unusual vehicles, vintage toys and cars, Hess Truck display, Model Train exhibits, Sammy the 29ft. snow plow, Grinch Scavenger Hunt and much more!
Grinch & Max Scavenger Hunt – Please help us find the Grinch and his dog Max in the Museum. They’ve escaped and we need to make sure they’re not causing mischief! In order to do that we need you to find them all scattered through the Museum. There will be a little treat for you on your way out as a thank you for all your help. Help us find all the Grinches this holiday season!
Help Us Give Back – In the true spirit of the season, The AACA Museum is teaming up with Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and Toys for Tots for a food and toy “drive” throughout the holidays. Central Pennsylvania’s Food Bank is a non-profit organization that helps provide food to over 55,000 people in need every week. You can help by donating non-perishable food items or by donating financially. With access to the wholesale distribution market, Central PA Food Bank can stretch each dollar you donate. For every $1 donated, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank can provide 6 meals to hungry individuals. The AACA Museum will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 16 in support of Toys for Tots.
One of our guest favorites each year are the model train displays throughout the Museum. One of our dedicated train crew took this video by securing his phone, in video mode, onto our model train display. It gives you a bird’s eye view of our train display in the lower level gallery.
Join us on December 1st for our annual Polar Express Pajama Party! We have a fun evening planned with kid friendly foods and the showing of “The Polar Express” movie on the big screen insdie the AACA Museum. Guests can also enjoy the Museum exhibits and of course a visit with our conductor.
All Aboard! For fun family movie night. Advance Tickets required and can be purchsed online, at the Museum ticket counter, or via phone 717-566-7100 ext. 100.
